I have started this website to pull all the SA Metal bands and Metal Heads together  so that we can make a stand together for Metal in our country. We can now counter any petitions preventing bands from touring and performing in SA like what happened with DevilDriver last year.

I also plan on organizing gigs and festivals around the country and later on also bring in some international cats to entertain us with neck breaking beats.

On this site you will find links to SA Bands (I will also sort them by Genre when I have enough links to bands, but for now it will be alphabetical). The Venues playing and Supporting Metal and the Festivals over SA will also be listed. For people looking to buy instruments or music, they will also be added.

But how can the members of our community keep in touch? I have set up a forum as well as a Social Network (Like a little FaceBook / Bebo Community). And all of this is free!!!!

If any bands would like a decent website with full functionality (Photo Galleries, Video and Music, Gig Guide, Discography, Biography and everything else you might need) I am available to do the design.
